Last Quarter Moon in Gemini: Sort It Out

posted in: Gemini, Last Quarter Moon | 0

Today’s an interesting day.

It’s the Last Quarter Moon, halfway between the Full and the New. Time to make good on our goals. In the waxing phase, we become clear, develop skills, make plans. At the Full Moon, something comes into focus. We feel ready, or at least more informed.

Now we act.

Yet the magic of the Pisces Full Moon remains strong. The Sun–Moon square is part of a T-square with Neptune, increasing sensitivity, sparking creative insights, and wafting in some fog. All at once.

Then there’s the Venus–Mars square. Notice how it matches the Sun and Moon. In fact, Venus and Mars are just barely within orb to be considered conjunct the Sun–Moon square. A strong pattern in which action and values seek balance.

The Moon is out of bounds. Expect out of the box ideas. Also surprising feelings and sensations.

We can flow this complex, complementary pattern into things like creative work or spiritual practice. Whatever we choose, the key will be what happens on the inside.

Mercury retrograde rules all the personal planets. There’s also the ongoing mutual reception with Venus, Libra to Virgo.

We’re looking within. At the past. At dreams, visions, aspirations. Jupiter opposite Mercury takes us to deep places.

This is a very generative time. We could see the emergence of seeds we scattered after the Full Moon.

We’ll also feel pulled in varied directions. Is it better this way or that? Maybe in this light? How about another color? A different approach?

That’s fine. Rely on the Sun and Venus in Virgo to sort things out. Allow some drifting and distraction, while bringing yourself back to the sorting. What’s worth recording? Keeping? What’s best to let go?

Notice that Venus trines Uranus and the North Node. We need not fear change if we can sort out who we are, within.
