There’s a trine between the Sun and Moon inside the Disseminating phase. Sometimes we miss trines because they’re smooth and easy.
Wednesday’s trine stands out as a big shift in energy. We’re not likely to miss it.
Remember we’re in a new landscape. Mercury is in lordly Leo, obscured by the mightier Sun. Jupiter shifted into Aquarius and opposes Mars at the end of Leo. Alert!
A feisty, restive Aries Moon trines the Sun. We’re full of creative ideas and want to act on them NOW. Our mind (Mercury) is on board. Let’s do stuff!
Except Chiron is applying to conjunct the Moon, already close enough to lean into this Moon–Sun–Mercury pattern. The wounded healer triggers us to see where we’ve been burned before. Do we jump in too fast, get disappointed, and move on? Classic Aries, not always fun. Do we dive so deeply into our creative passions we burn out and are forced to quit? Leo, also not fun.
The Mars–Jupiter opposition amps up the Fire vibe. Mars is ignited at the end of Leo. Jupiter makes that bigger.
We can be fierce in the face of injustice (one way to express these two in Leo and Aquarius), but does it get us where we want to go?
Maybe we crash when issues aren’t resolved right away. Or commit to the long term, but burn out.
This trine asks how we relate to Fire energy and whether that relationship is healthy.
Saturn opposes the Sun and sextiles the Moon. Saturnian structure might help channel the fire productively.
Meanwhile, Sun and Moon link with the Nodes of the Moon to create a Kite pattern with the North Node at the apex. Sun, Moon, and the South Node of letting go form a Grand Trine in Fire. What do we need to let go of in how we’re passionate in the world?
All three points connect to the North Node in Gemini, where we find a youthful curiosity and confidence that things will work out.
