Waning Trine Moon in Sagittarius: Travelers’ Tales

Later today, we reach the trine between Sun and Moon that happens inside the Disseminating phase. This is the sweet spot I mentioned yesterday for sharing what we’ve learned.

Each time the Sun and Moon meet in trine, they compare notes and share. Maybe a coffeeshop, or tea at a kitchen table. Drinks in a bar.

Today we have the Sagittarius Moon and Aries Sun sitting over a campfire sharing stories from the road.

Both luminaries have traversed deep and difficult terrain. The quest is a vital one, but the roads were tricky. Now both are in a place where light is dawning and (some) action can be taken.

With the Sun at 2 Aries, we begin a new zodiacal year, another journey through the signs and houses, aspects and changes.

The Moon at 2 Sag begins their own journey. First will be a trine to Chiron: Healing can happen when we’re able to bring what has been hidden into the light.

A sextile to Mars offers a check-in on whether we’re aligned with our core principles and keeping the big picture in mind. But this is not about standing still: A quincunx with Uranus keeps pushing for change.

Then a sextile to Venus (core values again), square to Jupiter (a reminder of the insights gained), sextile to Saturn (don’t lose sight of the big goals and keep going), and square to Neptune (there is a bigger “big picture” than just our day-to-day).

In other words, we have a moment to share a meal and stories over the fire, but the journey itself continues. This is a jovial time, a good time to walk far and pay attention to the world unfolding.

The big challenges aren’t gone, nor should they be ignored, but we can walk with the Sag Moon with lighter hearts. With the luminaries in Fire signs, we’re buoyed by a sense of optimism and the confidence we can succeed.
