Before dawn tomorrow, the Moon forms a sextile to the Sun. This waning sextile (which occurs within the Last Quarter phase) offers a moment of insight and understanding related to our current lunar journey.
Notice how the Moon is close to Neptune, a conjunction that will form later on Thursday. In a few days, the Sun will reach an exact sextile with Neptune as well. But since these are the luminaries, this conjunction and sextile are already well within orb and more powerful because they are applying.
It’s difficult to imagine a more magical combination than Neptune in Pisces. When the planet of oceanic insights travels through the sign of mysticism, they reinforce each other. Depending on how and when we’ve encountered this Neptune, the influence can be positive or challenging, offering deep spiritual insight, intuitive skill, creative inspiration, or a sense of confusion and overwhelm.
We each have different affinities for the mists and glamourie of Neptune in Pisces. Are you enchanted to find yourself in a dimly lit wood at twilight? Or are you impatient to find your way back to civilization?
Coming the day after Bealtaine, I see this particular combination as offering a deeper look within and perhaps additional understanding of whatever we’re experiencing at this magical turning of the year. Perhaps you will wake up tomorrow with sudden clarity on something you’ve been exploring. A solution to a dilemma might present itself. You might remember meaningful dreams.
