Tomorrow morning, as 2022 moves to a close, we reach the third exact Pluto Return to the Sibley chart for the US. Although this is the final exact Return, this energy will definitely continue to be present throughout 2023.
The significance of the exact Return being the third is, this has been a triple Return with a retrograde. In these situations, the first exact Return was February 20, 2022, when the US as a nation received the first heads up that a deep examination of the underpinnings of this nation was called for.
The retrograde Return was July 11, asking the question, “So, are you listening?” Tomorrow will be a direct and exact Return. We’ve had three chances. Are we listening yet?
I am not a mundane astrologer (i.e., one who focuses on world events). There are many treatments of this very important transit from those who are. Yet, for all of us as individuals, this is too important to ignore.
Questions come up for us, such as: Have we lived up to the founding principles of this nation? Where have we fallen short? What must we do to address injustice honestly and with integrity?
The Moon is conjunct Neptune in Pisces. We still carry within us big dreams of freedom, justice, and equality.
Venus, Mercury, and Pluto are conjunct. We have the strength and determination to face our past and improve the future, if we choose.
The Sun moves to square Chiron. We have the strength to heal this nation’s wounds. The cost of not taking a healing path is likely to be high.
While the United States has achieved amazing things, there are secrets not-so-hidden in the basement that cry out for attention, care, and redress. How we as a nation attend to these will determine our future course.
