Tomorrow, we reach several turning points as we shift into the First Quarter phase.
First, before dawn, Mercury stations retrograde at 24º21’ Capricorn. Yes, we’re now focusing inward on the real, the practical, and the structural. Do we have what we need? The Moon sits in the final degree of Pisces. Our needs extend beyond the material.
Next, Mercury conjuncts Venus. Our inward gaze extends beyond our own needs. What about others? What needs exist in my community? How do I relate to those needs? What are my values? The Moon has slipped into Aries to conjunct Jupiter. Our communities feel very expansive.
After dusk, the Moon squares the Sun to open the First Quarter. In this phase, we take action. We take the first steps toward our goals. Do we need new skills? This is when we start the learning process.
Where the Sun in Capricorn is slow and steady, the Aries Moon is hot and fast. Already charged up by the conjunction with Jupiter, this Moon now moves to conjunct Chiron.
Are we triggered? Focus Mercury Rx on sorting out how and why.
Are people around us triggered? Venus conjunct Mercury keeps our focus wider than just ourselves.
What healing is needed? Chiron knows and will show us if we pay attention.
Moon conjunct Chiron in Aries has a sharp edge. This can wound if we’re not careful. But sharp blades cut cleanly. If we need to separate from something or someone, we can do that. If we need to excise something from our lives or psyche, we can.
We need to figure out the best move and make it.
