Monday’s Disseminating Moon is our first stop post-eclipse. Are you oriented? Are your sure?? Or are dreams still swirling through your psyche?
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces was beautiful in the sky and dangerous on the ground. Take the time you need to get your bearings.
This Moon in late Aries is conjunct the planet Eris, the chaotic goddess who’s trick with a golden apple triggered the events that led to the Trojan War. The Moon in late Aries can be dramatic and provocative, loving her ability to provoke a reaction. Expect stuff to happen.
Opposite the Moon–Eris pairing is a strong Venus at the end of Libra. Venus here can be poised, staying cool, calm, and collected––unless she gets a little crazy.
Astrologer Jason Holley links Venus in Libra with the titaness Themis, a wise figure who represented natural law. Themis was the original oracle at Delphi (before Apollo took over) and also, in one tale, nudged Eris to take a bit of revenge against the goddesses who didn’t invite her to the party. Themis may even have handed her that golden apple.
Venus rules the last decan of Aries where we find the Moon and Eris, a decan Austin Coppock named the Burning Rose, a place where we can experience the power of art. Let me add here that roses and apples are in the same botanical family. Both are sacred to Venus.
There’s a lot going on in this chart.
The shallow triangle of trines and sextiles that connects the three outer planets remains present. Pluto is still out of bounds, so, what emerges from the deep psyche might surprise us.
There’s a crazy set of aspects in the middle degrees of Virgo, Leo, Cancer, and Aries:
Mars squares Saturn, Cancer to Aries, and Mars also rules Saturn. Expect ongoing tension between what we’re driven to do and what we’re able to do.
Jupiter trines Saturn but can’t see Mars, as they’re too close together. Does Jupiter’s philosopher king energy get Saturn moving a bit? Or do these two professors sit down for a private debate and ignore Mars?
A powerful Mercury is inconjunct Saturn, sextile Mars, and also can’t see Jupiter. Maybe Mercury shares some good ideas, except Mercury is still under the beams of the Sun. There’s new information coming, but it hasn’t been released yet.
So, I’m focusing on the creative iconoclasm of Venus opposing the Moon-Eris conjunction. Let’s make some beautiful trouble.

Did I mention that Venus trines the North Node in Aquarius and Uranus still squares the Sun? It’s time to get a little crazy creativity going as we process the intensity of the Pisces Full Moon eclipse.
