Gibbous Moon in Gemini: Only One

posted in: Gemini, Gibbous Moon | 0

Thursday morning, we reach the Gibbous Moon. In this phase, the Moon forms a sesquiquadrate to the Sun, a square-and-a-half, a challenge. Just as we reach for the illumination of the Full Moon, we trip over an obstacle. Something must be faced.

The Moon is at the end of Gemini. We must make a choice.

Gemini is the sign of twins, of binaries of all kinds, of either/or and both/and. At the end, a choice must be made. We can’t keep juggling multiple options.

This Gemini Moon moves to square Saturn at the end of Pisces and Neptune newly arrived in Aries.

Here we see the unlikely pair who’ve been traveling together for months: Saturn who loves boundaries, rules, and structure; Neptune who flows freely from one state into another.

The Moon will first reach Saturn, who remains mired at the dissolving end of the cosmos. Can this Moon help Saturn find clarity?

Neptune has entered Aries, the sign of clear separation. The late Gemini Moon must choose, and Neptune reborn in Aries must appear in one form, and only one.

We might see greater clarity in the news cycle. A glimpse of truth may emerge.

Certainly the large Aquarian group wants clarity, In fact, this much Aquarius demands certainty, and commitment as well.

The soon-to-arrive Full Moon in Leo, opposing the strong Aquarian group, will also demand we take a stand.

So this Gibbous moment finds us poised between one and the other, fact and fiction, dream and reality, truth and lies.

There’s enough confusion around to make discernment and decisions challenging. Yet we already have plenty of evidence. What is right to do? What is best to do?

Check your inner compass. In the swirl of information, as different sources make opposite claims, with our world changing faster than we can track, what will we do? What must be done?

A choice is before us.
