Waxing Trine in Libra: Perspective

posted in: Libra, Waxing Trine | 0

Tonight we reach the waxing trine between the Sun and Moon that offers connection. You know when a Gemini Sun and Libra Moon connect, communication will definitely be happening.

And this chart, once again, goes beyond the personal Sun–Moon trine to tie in to events happening on the world stage.

We see a Grand Trine in Air connecting Saturn (retrograde in Aquarius) to the Sun and Moon. We also see the Moon opposite Chiron and Eris in Aries, turning this Grand Trine into a Kite pattern.

What does the Grand Trine offer? There are options:

One: Saturn doubles down on the need for clear structure based in what already works. The Sun offers new idea after new idea only to be told no. The Moon attempts to mediate.

Two: Sun and Moon agree on the need for fresh perspectives that are inclusive and just. They communicate these ideas to Saturn and keep coming back when the “no” comes.

Three: The Moon attempts to mediate between the Sun (new ideas) and Saturn (old ways). When Sun and Saturn continue to talk past each other, the Moon insists that unless everyone has a place at the table, key issues cannot be addressed.

Aren’t trines supposed to be easy?

Yes, in the sense that communication will happen. This doesn’t guarantee common ground can be found. Perhaps the result is clarification, which is also valuable.

Chiron and Eris add a sense of urgency. The world’s problems feel present and painful. We feel the need for healing. Perhaps this motivates Sun, Moon, and Saturn to stay at the table.

This energy can also show up for us personally.

Perhaps our inner voices need to negotiate and compromise (not a Saturn word). Perhaps in relationships, we see who is taking the Saturnian role, who the Sun, and who the Moon.

Notice where your thoughts trend. What grabs your attention? What do you think about it? Where are you pulled to new approaches? A desire to stay with the tried and true? A need to be sure all voices are heard?

This trine offers interesting perspectives.
