Last Quarter Moon in Libra: Alliances

Soon we enter the Last Quarter phase, where we remain until Thursday morning. We’re at the turning point between Full Moon and New, where choices are made.

The Libra Moon squares the Capricorn Sun. Imagine the conversation: The Moon thinks we need to talk more, work out a solution everyone can get behind. The Sun stands firm. We know what needs to be done. It’s time to just do it.

Indeed, the Last Quarter is time to act. We’re meant to move forward based in skills we built in the waxing phase, informed by what we learned at the Full Moon.

What’s interesting is who the Sun and Moon connect with. The Saturn–Uranus square is still very much in play and a big part of this Last Quarter chart.

The Moon trines Saturn. Libra shares the Aquarian love of formal balance. One reason Libra wants all voices at the table is so that any solution rests on a stable, secure structure.

The Sun trines Uranus. Capricorn and Taurus are grounded in physical reality. They share an understanding that if an idea is not realistic, can’t be done, then it doesn’t matter how much support it has.

Sun and Moon are part of a T-square with Chiron in Aries opposing the Moon and square the Sun. There are healing opportunities here if we’re ready to act, and cut away something we no longer need that may actually be unhealthy for us.

It’s time to make a choice. We know best what that is, based on where we are in our lives right now. What do we need to stop? Step away from? Draw a line? Say no to?

We’re looking for actions firmly based in reality (Capricorn and Taurus) that we support fully and believe in (Libra and Aquarius). One without the other simply won’t fly.
