Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn: Lockdown

Remember the Jupiter–Pluto conjunction of ten days ago? An intensely alchemical Plutonian transformation magnified by Jupiterian enthusiasm and excess.

It was the first of three, the opening up of Pluto in late Capricorn. We were pushed to an edge within ourselves and in the world. We might not like what we saw and felt, but we couldn’t look away.

We were each blind and touching an elephant. Except the elephant was exploding.

OK, maybe it’s not this intense for everyone and I am glad of that! For me, I have Chiron @ 23 Cap, Mercury @ 23 Libra, Neptune @ 24 Libra, Uranus @ 25 Cancer, and Jupiter @ 26 Cancer. At times, it feels as if I am crushed under a large stone and infinitely expanded at the same time.

If you have anything in the mid 20 degrees, especially in cardinal signs, you can relate.

So today we arrive at the Last Quarter Moon, the square between Sun and Moon that pivots us from the illuminated excitement of the Full Moon to the darkening release work before the New Moon.

The Sun and Eris (chaos and disruption) are @ 25 and 23 Aries. The Moon sits @ 25 Capricorn.

Yes, the Moon sits between Jupiter and Pluto, enclosed. In case you missed the exact conjunction ten days ago, the Moon is here to help you feel it.

Dane Rudhyar called the Quarter Moons “crisis times.” At the Last Quarter, we face that whatever happened since the New Moon is done. The goals we set, decisions we made, paths we chose are now set.

With this Last Quarter in Capricorn, we are, for the moment, immobilized. We can’t move no matter how much we want to.

The challenge is to bear witness. We look at this moment in history, one we already know will be featured in history books in time to come. We realize where we are within this historic time. And in our own lives.

We may not be moving much but we are still aware. Our bodies feel all of it. What we learn and experience now will reverberate for a long time to come.

    You certainly nailed it today!

I laid on my yoga mat for 2 hours today.
No stretching no exercising … I just laid there and then I cried and then I stayed there longer and then I got up and had some chocolate.

… chop wood, carry water then Hagen Daz

My solar return promises a lot of change

Maybe tomorrow I can do a Sun Salutation. Maybe.

Hang in there! These energies will keep shifting and adjusting and we’ll need to shift with them.

Thanks for the up-date. I have a lot of the same planets and degrees that you do. Just don’t even know what to think or feel. All of this energy almost makes me dizzy. Have no idea or inkling what is next for me and my husband. The big void.

Sometimes it’s good to know there’s a lot going on that’s affecting our own charts and we need to wait for the world to settle down!
