Last Quarter Moon in Aquarius: Stay the Course

We’re about to cross over into the Last Quarter phase. This time around, it could feel a bit … rocky!

The Moon’s in Aquarius closely conjunct Saturn, so, the two together square the Sun. Uranus is there with the Sun, not as close but plenty close enough to be another part of this square.

Here we are again activating the Saturn–Uranus square, this time with a Sun–Moon square that ushers in the Last Quarter phase of this lunar cycle. It could feel challenging. As in, we are asked to deal with a literal challenge. This is not necessarily bad, although it’s not likely to feel easy.

In the Last Quarter, we act on what we’ve learned since the New Moon, and what came into focus at the Full Moon. The Last Quarter can be a very productive time. We’ve been through enough of this particular cycle to know what we want and have at least some idea how to get it.

Being tied into Saturn–Uranus makes it feel bigger. The stakes feel higher. The climb feels steeper. It’s daunting.

Yet both an Aquarius Moon and a Taurus Sun are committed, responsible, hard-working energies that don’t shy away from challenges.

Our task for the next few days is to put one foot in front of the other. What is it we know we need to work on? Take a step in that direction. Take another. Then another.

The Aquarius side says, be sure you’re working toward a worthy goal. Keep your vision in mind even if you can’t see the crest of the mountain from where you are now.

The Taurus side says, smell the roses. Let’s not kill ourselves on the way to the goal. Drink enough water. Get enough sleep. Take breaks. The mountain isn’t going anywhere. Besides, it’s all about the journey anyway.

So this phase is about staying the course on the way to our goal. Keeping the big picture in mind. And taking care of ourselves along the way. We’ll get there.
