Gibbous Moon in Pisces: Uncertainty

Tomorrow, we enter the Gibbous phase with the Moon in mid Pisces. This Moon opposes Venus, trines the asteroid Ceres, and moves to conjunct Neptune.

The Gibbous Moon looks like a sail filled with wind. The sails of this Gibbous Moon are filled by cosmic winds and the mysteries of the universe holding more then our minds and hearts can carry.

As we sail into the Full Moon eclipse, how does that feel?

Each of us will feel differently, reflecting our birth charts and life experience. Overall, I expect our reactions will be mixed.

There’s an undeniable pull to dive into great mysteries. What is the cosmos made of? Will we ever understand it fully? Is the universe unknowable? This is the Moon and Neptune in Pisces.

Also, we have deadlines, there are dust bunnies under the couch, and there’s an early meeting in the morning. It’s enough to just get through the day without worrying about what’s out beyond our solar system. Just thinking about all that makes us anxious. This is Venus in Virgo.

Ceres can help find a balance point. Ceres is the Roman name for the goddess Demeter, whose story is reflected in its astrological meanings.

Demeter was a goddess, sister of Zeus, with her feet firmly among the stars. Yet her role was to bring the Earth to life each spring, making it fruitful.

When her daughter Persephone was kidnapped, and none of the gods and goddesses would help, Demeter choose to hide among humans, taking care of children as she mourned the loss of her own.

The Earth became barren without her until Zeus decreed Persephone must be returned to her mother.

As we approach the Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus, we need to keep our feet firmly on solid ground, even as cosmic clouds swirl around us.

Where in your chart are the Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn? The Houses and planets here can help you stay grounded. Yes, even though the eclipse is in Taurus, this energy can still help–Jupiter in Taurus will conjunct the Moon.

Where will the Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Scorpio fall in your chart? Here we find deep mystery. Here we are comfortable diving into what is hidden, taboo, and often frightening.

The fierce maternal energy of Ceres in Scorpio can help us find the balance.
