We’re inside the First Quarter Moon phase now, just as we are inside our homes, whatever that looks like. Are we happy there? Do we feel safe? Do we feel cared for? Are we well fed?
The Moon is in Cancer squaring the Aries Sun and this is where we are.
“Home” is an idea, a cherished idea. Not limited to the structure in which we live, “home” is our bodies, our neighborhood, our town, city, nation, sangha, lineage. Today those same questions about care and safety apply.
Mars has completed his conjunction with Saturn and moving to square Uranus. We are beginning to understand containment and leaning into what needs to change. Much has already changed that we haven’t seen yet?
The Cancerian Moon moves to trine Mercury and then Neptune in Pisces. This connection can offer deep insights and spiritual meaning, or can spike our sense of being at sea, out of control and anxious. Both will likely happen.
Jupiter is so close to Pluto now. The world is changing before our eyes. Things will no go back to where they were.
So where is home? The deep call is to return to our inner resources. No matter where we are, whether we are alone within four falls or starting our hospital shift, delivering needed supplies or providing other essentials services, we all live within our own skins, our own hearts and minds.
Today and in this phase we see the challenges. They are as much inside as out. Can we widen our circles of care to include the world? Can we love and care for our own selves?
Everything depends on this.
