Disseminating Moon in Scorpio: On the Other Hand

Tonight we shift from the intricate connections of the Full Moon into the Disseminating phase. Here we want to share something of our experience, something of what we learned.

Our hearts are full, yet expressing this could be a challenge.

Yes, this phase is about sharing. It can also be about where we meet resistance.

With the Disseminating Moon in late Scorpio, we might come up against our own Shadow.

The Sun and Moon form a challenging angle, each one in a Mars-ruled sign. The Sun in direct, passionate Aries wants to speak out. The Scorpio Moon is wary. Is it safe to stand up? Do I really understand what’s going on? What if my attempts to connect are rejected?

The Sun sits between Chiron and Venus: It hurts when we’re not accepted.

The Scorpio Moon trines Neptune and Mercury in Pisces: Do I really have the full picture? What is hidden here?

Saturn trines the North Node of new things, as Mars in Gemini separates from that Node: We might wish to dive in, reach out, connect, but … what are the underlying principles? What’s the plan?

As the world attempts to reopen, to reconnect, we see rising infections and ongoing denial of the need to understand and work with the new normal. Issues of trust, safety, and truth collide.

Here in the US, the trial of George Floyd’s killer unfolds as each side presents very different images of what happened. Note how anger (Aries and Scorpio) is key. Who is allowed to be angry? How is anger expressed? How is it managed? When is it dangerous?

The Full Moon still pulls at our hearts. We long for a world in which we can connect, fully and authentically. This Disseminating phase will surface the places where we hold back. What comes from a place of valid caution? What is unfounded fear?

With courage, we can learn. Pluto, Scorpio’s modern ruler, always favors transformation.
