At the end of Taurus, this Disseminating Moon knows that things don’t always turn out well. Sometimes we need to do the best we can, and work with whatever happens.
The Moon separates from a square to Jupiter in Leo. Regal in this middle decan of fixed Fire, Jupiter is encouraging. Yet such talk might sound like bravado to this Moon, aware that all good things must end.
The diplomatic Sun continues to hold the Kite pattern together, sextiling Pluto and Uranus, who trine each other. Now at 7º Libra, the Sun separates from the opposition to Neptune to move into one with Saturn, another roadblock to our desire for equitable, just solutions.
Mercury in the final degree of Libra moves into a square with Mars and toward a conjunction with Venus in Scorpio. Diplomacy becomes more secretive and strategic. Deep questions arise, as Mercury squares Pluto, who opposes Mars.
Mercury also forms one corner of a tightly configured Mystic Rectangle, a rectangle made of sextiles and trines around the outside and crossed oppositions in the middle. Mercury opposes Chiron retrograde at the end of Aries. The Nodes of the Moon form the other corners. We may find our personal healing work (Chiron) is more closely linked to how we show up in the world (Mercury), and with our path going forward (the Nodes).
Mercury at the boundary between Libra and Scorpio points to how we feel about this particular Disseminating phase: Usually a time to share what we’ve learned at the Full Moon, it feels appropriate now to stay alert and not say too much.
Venus moves very slowly. She will station retrograde within this phase, on October 3.
If all this sounds dark, it’s because October is a somber month. Scorpio season has its darknesses, but the spice it sometimes brings feels hidden in deeper shadows this year.
Too much has gone up in smoke already. We’re not making any sudden moves, waiting to see what happens next.
