Early Sunday, we step into the Balsamic phase with the Moon in Aquarius. This is a Moon in exile, separating from a conjunction with Pluto. This Moon is incisive, ready to take apart what is done and build anew.

It’s been quite an eclipse season. We’re heading into our first lunation outside the eclipses, a New Moon at the end of Pisces. We’re stepping into an important transition.
Late Pisces is a lovely place for dreams, but the New Moon will form a degree-based conjunction with Neptune and Saturn in Aries, the architects of our current confusion.
Soon after the New Moon, the Sun enters Aries to trigger the Spring Equinox. This is an important moment every year, but carries special weight this time with Neptune and Saturn nearby.
Will we emerge from Piscean dreams to gain the clear, focused energy of Aries? Or will this year’s transition create confusion and uncertainty? Given current astrology, look for some of both.
This Aquarian Moon is semisquare the Sun, already in late Pisces. Listen for questions like: Where are we headed? Is this a good direction? Do we even know?
This Balsamic Moon is a gift. The clear-sighted determination of Aquarius, boosted by the deep insights and long timeline of Pluto, offers space to sort out our thinking.
Maybe we have to accept that some of the beliefs we’ve held are not well founded. People we trusted might not have been trustworthy. Promises, not kept.
We might realize some ideas we scorned actually have merit. Some people we did not believe, deserve another chance. Maybe an apology.
Under this Moon, we’re confronted with our own thoughts and values. We’re challenged to break down our belief structures to see what they’re made of.
We have the opportunity to let go of what’s not true and not working, so we can move into a confusing time with clear ideas and principles. Break it down.
