The First Quarter phase calls us to act. We move toward our goals for this lunar cycle.
This cycle brings us a Moon in early Pisces, a place of dreaming.
Yet this Moon squares the Sun in early Sagittarius, which is all about speed. Will we dream of quick movement?
Sagittarian journeys are more than travel through landscapes, though. Sometimes, we’re called to dive in, exploring the depths of a place, a vision, a discipline, a relationship.

Jupiter continues to anchor the Cancerian corner of the Grand Trine, while also squaring Chiron. This can be a healing journey, although it may be challenging.
Venus and Mercury together hold the Scorpio corner. Our perceptions and thoughts, and our patterns of relating, are in deep waters.
Dream journeys are various and magical.
If you attend to your night dreams, you may find them richer, deeper, and more marvelous than usual. Such dreams can journey through time (our own timelines or fantastical ones), through space, or any other dimension you can imagine.
If you meditate, you may find this influenced by the First Quarter chart. The same may be true for any contemplative or mystical practice. We are floating through an amazing sky pattern drawing us into landscapes that shift and change endlessly and creatively.
Mars in Sagittarius, accompanying the Sun, may push hard for speed, but the mood of this First Quarter is slower and more flexible. Some dream experiences can move very fast, but the pace is set by the dream and not the dreamer.
Even in lucid dreams, guided imagery, or conscious meditation, we may find ourselves carried by the current, rather than pushing forward on our own.
