Entering the First Quarter, we find ourselves in unfamiliar territory, strange and shadowy. This Aquarius Moon is conjunct Pluto, as both square the Sun in Scorpio.

In early Aquarius, the Moon begins a journey. Chosen or not, it might feel like exile. Next to Pluto and squaring the Scorpio Sun, even familiar paths look dark and unfamiliar.
We now begin working toward our goals for this lunar cycle. Get off your familiar path. There is much to be learned on this new road.
The Grand Water Trine still holds. In fact, it’s become more exact, as Jupiter in Cancer trines Mars in Scorpio and Saturn-Neptune in Pisces.
Mars in Scorpio will not turn away from a daunting challenge. In fact, he’s drawn to danger. Neptune weaves deep webs in Pisces, while Saturn tries to map this nebulous structure.
Jupiter continues to rain blessings on all. Exalted in Cancer, he’s now even stronger, because he is stationing. He won’t retrograde until November 11, but we’re already in the preview period. He’s less than a degree from his exact station. The Great Benefic wants more time in his exaltation before moving into Leo
Mercury arrives in Sagittarius like an arrow shot from a bow. Ruling this decan, the trickster god is strong, able to persuade and influence. They oppose Uranus, god of quick change, retrograde at the beginning of Gemini.
These two amplify speed. If they work together, aim in the same direction, things will move quickly indeed.
On different sides, will they cancel each other out? The strength of Mercury here is great, and Uranus is leaving Gemini to revisit Taurus. Right now, fast talking Mercury might win out over substantive change.
Venus, strong in her own sign of Libra, moves in to oppose the Chiron-Eris conjunction, creating conditions for healing.
We find ourselves in weird places. The shadows are deep. There are mysteries here. Yet we will not turn aside and don’t really want to. We’re compelled to go on. This is our path. Don’t rush, though. Watch for opportunities to heal.
