At Last Quarter, it’s time to get stuff done. We’re wrapping up this lunar cycle. What’s left of our plans for this New Moon-to-New Moon journey?

The Sun, still eking out the last degrees of Gemini, is squared by a Moon in late Pisces. This Moon revisits the Pisces–Aries border that’s been so active these last months. Now, it’s just the North Node and the Moon.
This highlights how much has changed: Saturn and Neptune together in Aries, Venus in Taurus, Jupiter in Cancer, Mars in Virgo–each an important shift.
Uranus traverses the final minutes of Taurus. His entry into Gemini on July 7 will be the next Big Shift of 2025.
While several shifts are welcome–Venus and Jupiter are now in much stronger and happier positions than they have been–the big outer planet changes have barely begun. Uncertainty is high.
What are we thinking about? What are we feeling?
Mercury in mid Cancer rests in a walled garden, nurturing emotionally tender ideas. Ruled by a Moon in late Pisces, cosmic depths are explored. What does it feel like to expand into the far reaches of space, within or without?
The Moon sextiles Uranus, who holds on to images (and memories?) of destruction and loss. Can we expand our thinking, and our hearts, to place difficult thoughts and feelings in a wider context? Are we drowning out what we can’t manage through distraction? Or taking the long view of history?
It seems the work of this Last Quarter is looking both forward and back, up to distant skies and deep within the Earth, and into the farthest spaces of our hearts and minds.
We’re heading into the Summer Solstice and a New Moon conjunct Jupiter. Times of celebration much needed in this year of challenge. Where are our hearts and minds right now? What do we need to do, so we can celebrate the abundance of high summer?
