The Aries Moon wants direct physical engagement. No waiting around. Just do it.
The Moon is tightly conjunct the asteroids Eris and Chiron, all in late Aries. This is the decan ruled by Venus that speaks to the power of creative inspiration to break through barriers.
Eris and Chiron carry the wounds of the world and our own personal needs for healing. What do we need, each of us, to heal within ourselves so we can aid the world?
All three square the Sun in Cancer, ruled by the Aries Moon. In Cancer, the Sun is most concerned with family, those closest to our hearts.
The Moon–Eris–Chiron trio challenges the Sun to widen that horizon. Are we not citizens of the world? Don’t we all have a responsibility and right to act to address great needs?
Venus in Gemini, full of ideas and energy, sextiles Mercury in Leo. Here’s another call to DO something. Yet this Mercury is stationing retrograde.
Perhaps this Leo Mercury Rx also calls for self reflection and healing. What is the light each of us carries within? Is our light shining forth? What do we need to shine more brightly?
Meanwhile, Pluto Rx continues to trine Uranus at 0º Gemini, as each sextiles the Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Aries. These are the great change agents of our time. They will not be ignored.
The Sun and Moon are moving into aspects with these agents of change.
Before we reach the New Moon, the Moon will conjunct Uranus, joining in the trine to Pluto and sextiles to Saturn and Neptune.
As the Sun enters Leo, he will oppose Pluto, trine Saturn and Neptune, and sextile Uranus.
In the next days, the luminaries will light up the big change agents. This Last Quarter offers a chance to check in with what we need, for ourselves, so we can answer the call to act on behalf of our time.
