Overnight Friday, we enter the Gibbous phase with the Sun in mid Gemini and Moon in early Scorpio.

This mismatch in tone, from Gemini’s scintillating, outspoken curiosity to Scorpio’s intense and watchful silence. is key.
Here is the last challenge before the Full Moon, which might be anything from a battle to the death to coming up with your favorite color before you can cross the bridge.
The Sun and a Mercury–Jupiter conjunction in Gemini feel sunny, brimming over with bright ideas. Mercury is strong in their own sign. Everything is possible.
Venus has entered Taurus, where she’s strong and very much at home. We feel secure in good ways, feelings hard to come by in recent months. We appreciate what we have and can be generous to others.
And yet the Scorpio Moon forms a tight opposition to this Venus. All is not as it seems.
Venus in early Taurus is luxurious, skilled at acquiring what she desires and in enjoying it. The first decan of Scorpio is difficult for the Moon. She also has desires, strong and hard to control, which creates a difficult path for the gentle Moon.
With these two, we confront the question, What price must we pay?
This isn’t an Aries question, nor one Mars in Leo cares about. It throws Gemini off to consider costs–Can’t we juggle a bit and have it all?
The planet with answers is Pluto, who squares the Moon. Here the Moon is pulled into the deepest depths, facing foundational questions of who gets what, and why. Now the Moon–Venus opposition becomes a T-square.
Depending on your chart and timing, you could experience this Gibbous phase either way.
If Gemini or Aries, Taurus, or Leo are highlighted, the vibe focuses on getting what we want, and being generous with it.
If the Scorpio Moon or Pluto in early Aquarius are important, the questions feel deeper and tougher to answer.
It’s good to note, both energies are present. Both are important. Life is more than fun and games, or even comfort. At some point, we need to look beneath the surface.
In these days before the Sagittarius Full Moon, you may reach hidden depths.
