Gibbous Moon in Sagittarius: Firecracker

posted in: Gibbous Moon, Sagittarius | 0

It’s the Gibbous Moon, the unexpected challenge.

The Moon’s in Sagittarius, and way out of bounds. This Moon is up for anything.

Except this Moon’s at the very end of Sag, which is the 10 of Wands––we’re tired. Beyond tired. Nothing left.

But we’re not there yet. In fact, this Moon is about to flip into Capricorn, oppose Venus, square Mars, and square the Saturn–Neptune conjunction.

Meanwhile, Mars is about to step into Libra, oppose Saturn–Neptune in Aires, and square Venus, while also trining Pluto and Uranus.

As Mercury retrogrades into another opposition to Pluto.

We step into this Gibbous phase, seeing Big Change all around, all set to bring us more, while feeling pretty sure we don’t have more to give.

This is the Gibbous challenge.

What do we do when there’s more to face, more to accomplish, more to endure, and we’re hitting limits? This is a perfectly good question, a worthy question, and exactly the right one to be asking.

How do we, each of us, take care of ourselves in the midst of stress and challenge?

The answers will vary based on our birth charts and our life circumstances. Rest is essential. Being kind, likewise. Staying hydrated. Not doomscrolling.

Embrace this Gibbous challenge as an invitation. How do we get creative about keeping ourselves going when there’s so much going on?

Over these next days (and beyond), experiment. Try something new. Journaling. Dreamwork. Bodywork. Laughter (honestly, it’s essential). Hugs. Gardening. Poetry.

The astrology ahead points to more changes, including unexpected ones. We all need fresh new ways to keep going. What are your strategies? If it involves chocolate or books, I’m interested.
