As Wednesday steps into Thursday, we reach the Gibbous Moon. We’ve been out questing. Now we’ve arrived–not at the ending, but at a challenge.

If the First Quarter Moon in Sagittarius sought adventure, this more sober Capricorn Moon has surely found it. This Moon at the very end of Capricorn moves to conjunct Pluto, sextile Saturn and Neptune, and trine Uranus.
Late Capricorn is a place of resting on what we’ve so carefully built, yet here we are at the mouth of a cave where strange beings dwell. This is not the place we imagined it to be. But Capricorn does not back down.
Those strange beings are the Big Change gang, Pluto, Saturn and Neptune, and Uranus.
Pluto is retrograde in Aquarius. Imagine him as owner of the cave, a dragon of sorcery and spells, who may insist we step within.
Butt before this Moon reaches Pluto, she first sextiles Saturn, who has just moved back into Pisces in his own retrograde. Saturn rules this Capricorn Moon. His reentry into Pisces is part of the weirdness. Is this a cave of dreams or reality? How can we tell?
Then comes the sextile to Neptune, still in Aries, who longs to bring visions to life with fire.
Then a trine to Uranus, who is in an especially strong position as he stations retrograde, his first in Gemini.
Standing with this stalwart Moon, you can sense for yourself the immense power of these four with all the force of change with them.
This Moon will not turn away. She keep to her paths, even as it leads into the eclipse.
The Sun in mid Virgo moves toward the North Node, their place for the Full Moon eclipse. They are joined by Mercury at his strongest in Virgo who carries messages from a square to Uranus.
Jupiter brings his own substantial boons as he trines the South Node, sextiles the North Node, and squares Mars. If Mars created problems for you during his long retrograde in Cancer earlier this year, Jupiter is now in place to unwind them, or provide other remedies.
This is the last lunar phase before the Full Moon eclipse. Enlist the sturdy strength of the Capricorn Moon to review where you’re been.
It’s also time to check where the Pisces Full Moon eclipse will land in your birth chart. The Full Moon falls at 15º Pisces with the Sun at 15º Virgo. Which of your houses will this eclipse visit? Which planets and points will be aspected? Make note of those now.
This Moon will not be daunted.
