Overnight, we journey into the First Quarter. It’s time to sort out what we want and where we’re going. We have an excellent Moon to journey with: the Moon is in early Sagittarius.

At the beginning of Sagittarius, the Moon travels fast toward a valued goal. Yet it’s difficult to travel alone, so let’s see who else is on this journey.
Of course, there’s a square to the Sun in Virgo. This Moon is impatient with too much planning or baggage. Let’s just go, this Moon says, we’ll sort things out along the way.
Venus in Leo is on the journey, another bright fiery presence. The Moon is pulling away from a trine to Venus, but not by much–they are only a degree and a half apart.
Venus has strong desires in Leo, happy to join the Moon on a quest.
This Moon has already checked in with the Big Change group When she first entered Sagittarius yesterday, she opposed Uranus, trined Saturn and Neptune, and sextiled Pluto. She’s thoroughly up to speed on what to expect.
Remember we’re heading into the fall eclipse season, with both upcoming eclipses in the mutable signs Pisces and Virgo. So this Moon travels toward the bendings, the square aspect between the Moon and both of her Nodes, North and South. There, she will learn more.
We’re in the stream of change, which is, after all, the stream of life. As we move with this swift Moon, we look around. What signs are here? What portents?
We look for clues about which path we’re on. Which quest we’re pursuing. If someone hands you a map, check it out, but hold it lightly. Pay more attention to what you notice around you.
The clues we need will be on the path.
