Disseminating Moon in Virgo: Steady at the Helm

In the Disseminating phase, we share our Full Moon insights. With the Moon in Virgo, we might picture carefully written memos and neatly filed reports. But this sky is more dynamic than that.

The Moon sits at the apex of Thor’s Hammer, a volatile and dynamic pattern. We’re looking for balance between forces pulling us in different directions.

Those forces are the Sun in Aquarius and Mars in Taurus, squaring each other. This is a visionary Sun, authoritative and in charge, bolstered by the presence of Saturn, Jupiter, Pallas Athena, and Mercury all in Aquarius.

Mars is trying to say no, I’m not moving, not changing, here to stay. But how can he prevail against all the ideas and plans Aquarius has prepared?

This gentle Virgo Moon must find a way. She is sympathetic to Mars in another Earth sign, and ruled by Mercury newly retrograde in Aquarius. She understands both sides. She will do her best to find a way through.

A few hours after the Sun–Mars square is exact, Venus enters Aquarius. Now Mars in Taurus is ruled by an Aquarian.

We see that resistance to change is not a productive way forward. It’s simply not going to work.

But neither do we want to blindly go along with the prevailing tides. We join the Virgo Moon at the helm. With a calm and steady hand, we find our best course.
