The Disseminating Moon is a time for sharing what we experienced with the Full Moon. The more I follow the details of each lunar cycle, the more I realize there is a lot more wiggle room in what each phase is about.

“Disseminating” speaks to sharing. Telling or showing what we learned, what the takeaway is. Sometimes the processing is more internal, or internal first before anything is ready to be shared.
We’ve just had a lovely Full Moon in Sagittarius that was also aligned with a number of fixed stars, powerful in the sky, consequential, and not aligned much with ordinary human lives and goals.
By now, neither Sun nor Moon are aligned with fixed stars. Fomalhaut and Regulus remain with the North and South Nodes. Jupiter is within 2º of Procyon, a star that gives mental sharpness and speed, with warnings against impulsiveness without thinking things through.
The Moon in late Capricorn would agree. Slow and steady are Capricorn qualities. At the end of this sign, we’re in a more reflective place. We’re asking questions about the power that gets work done. Who has it? How is it deployed? How are we involved?
Since the Full Moon, Mercury has entered Cancer to square Neptune in Aries. We’re less hyped on the messaging and more focused on asking who benefits? Where’s the power here?
We’re moving to the very beneficial conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on June 9, within the Last Quarter phase. Before we get there, we sit with this late Capricorn Moon.
Yes, there is work to be done. Lots of it. Good work. We’re here for it. But before we being, let’s ask, what exactly are we doing? For whom? Is this real or performative? Aligned with what?
Work is necessary and worthy. This Disseminating Moon challenges us to ask, what’s this for? Rich or poor? Protection or control? To keep us in or out?
In these times, we all need to ask what’s really going on, and for whom.
