Disseminating Moon in Aquarius: Alignments

Just after midnight in my time zone, we shift into the Disseminating Moon. As one day divides into the next, we need to know where we stand.

Dramatic patterns mark this strong chart, one pointing to decisive events on the world stage (honestly, we already have those) as well as important shifts in our personal worlds.

The Sun remains in late Gemini, signaling the choice point. We can’t have it both ways. A path will be chosen. If we want to influence that, now’s the time.

The Moon in early Aquarius is tightly square Venus in Taurus. The desire for values-based clarity challenges the desire for cozy, luxurious security.

But look–here’s Pluto, conjunct the Moon and still within orb to square Venus. Our choices emerge from deep within the psyche and have significant consequences for who we are going forward.

On the other side of the chart, Mars strongly squares Uranus. On the world stage, these two point to conflicts, accidents, and actions that can’t be undone. In our lives, this square points to a time when prudent, caring speech and calm action are called for.

Mercury is out of bounds in mid Cancer. We may feel more emotional than usual. We may feel we need to speak out. Those feelings are real. Keep consequences in mind.

If we look at the planets from the declension point of view, the Sun and Jupiter are parallel (like a conjunction) and both are contraparallel Pluto (like an opposition).

Here’s a reminder and an invitation: Our choices can be based in care (Sun and Jupiter), even in the face of fear (Pluto). And/or, in the messy, shadowed depths of the psyche (Pluto), we’re still humans in caring communities (Sun and Jupiter).

Neptune and Saturn remain conjunct at the beginning of Aries, figuring out their basis of action. They now square Jupiter, who offers the same values of care and connection.

However we act, let our dreams (Neptune) and our carefully calculated plans (Saturn) reflect who we are at our core.
