Crescent Moon in Pisces: Shoals Ahead

We’re floating along in the New Moon phase still today, a Venus–Neptune conjunction creating glamour everywhere we look.

“Glamour” is an old Scots word for the ability to make things look like what they’re not. Modern celebrity culture, sure, but also anything that creates illusions, beautiful, horrifying, or both!

The Aquarius New Moon square Uranus let us know we weren’t in Kansas any more. Today could feel like the poppy fields of Oz: sleep and dreams. And let’s not miss something vital.

We enter the Crescent phase tomorrow as the Moon sextiles Saturn and Pluto. Our flowing river of dreams just hit a rocky patch.

This is not a bad thing. Rocks in water create beauty in sound and vision, making a river exhilarating. They’re also dangerous, which is the whole point about this Piscean–Capricornian connection.

Dream the big dreams during these days. Let your mind and heart drift into new, beautiful pathways. This is creative, visionary, and fertile. Don’t let yourself fall into needless anxiety.

Also keep your intuitive antennae up and active. Glamour’s pretty mask can hide deceit and danger. Sometimes our fears are real. Not all people and situations mean us well. Mars in Sag squares Neptune and Venus: be attentive.

How are we with Pisces? Are we in denial, using escape as our chief way to deal? Or have we honed our intuitive sensing to be open and discerning?

How are our boundaries? Nonexistent? Locked down? Or actively managed and monitored based on where we are and who we’re with?

The Crescent phase offers our first challenges on the way to meeting New Moon goals. We need to steer through these shoals. What we encounter shows us where we have work to do.
