We’re entering the First Quarter phase with an electric Moon in Gemini.

This is a “doing” phase. Yet we need to hold that idea lightly. We’re between eclipses, with Mercury about to station retrograde in Pisces.
Luckily, Gemini has a light touch. This Gemini Moon, though, is a little crazy.
First, the Moon is very out of bounds. Sailing outside the reach of the Sun, she follows her own star. In early Gemini, she explodes with ideas, plays with possibilities.
Second, this Moon activates the triangle connecting Pluto, Uranus, and the Neptune-Saturn conjunction. This Moon forms a tight trine to Pluto, and sextiles to Saturn and Neptune. She’s a bit farther from Uranus, but still close enough to form that last sextile.
So, this Moon picks up messages from the outer planets about the great changes of our time. There’s a sense of speed, ideas moving quickly through the ether.
At the same time, this Moon is ruled by Mercury, who is slowing to station retrograde in Pisces. Quite a contrast.
The Moon in Gemini is quick, but right now, Mercury is slow in speed and focus. Pisces is a dreamy, drifting place.
Notice where the Moon is. Naturally, she squares the Sun, the signature of the First Quarter. The Sun is conjunct the North Node and opposes the South Node.
So, this Moon is at the Bendings, squaring the Nodes as well as the Sun. She’s at her highest northern latitude, bending downward now to arc toward the South Node.
We’re taking in lots of info yet processing slowly. We’re shifting gears, far away from the Sun, yet turning to move closer. Mercury is slipping into a dreamworld.
If we found our allies at the Crescent Moon, we at least have folks to compare notes with. Grab paper, pencils, markers, and paint. Glitter is optional.
Take notes, create images, play with connections, spin ideas. Hold it all lightly. A lot is in motion right now. Grab hold of the most important ideas. Explore those.
