We’re already in the Disseminating phase, having slipped in overnight. I planned to have this post up yesterday and, I’m lookin’ at you, Mercury Rx in Pisces. Also Venus and Neptune conjunct at the beginning of Aries.
And this Moon has slipped into Scorpio, a stealth move. Yep, this Disseminating Moon is all about secrets.
We all have them. Privacy is a right, both legally and relationally. We do not want or need a world made over as panopticon, the big tech image of constant accessible knowledge.
There are toxic, illegal, harmful secrets too.
Every community seeks a balance between what is private and rightly so, and what is secret and harmful. Scorpio feels the power of secrecy and searches for that balance.
The Moon is not happy here, at the beginning of Scorpio. She understands community. She understands we all need both to protect our inner selves and to build bridges of trust. She desperately wants this balance and knows how hard it is both to find and to keep.
So where are we?
Emerging from spring eclipse season, still within the field of big shifts and challenges. We can’t see clearly yet but we’re moving.
Mercury just met with the Sun, still too close to see clearly, also retrograde. New information is right there, at our fingertips. We can’t access it yet.
Venus stepped into Aries yesterday, conjunct Neptune and within orb of Saturn. The sharp, pointy end of unclear mis- and disinformation, the pain of confusion, feels more personal. We want to do something. Right action may not be clear yet.
This Moon applies to square Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio. There are answers in the depths. This Moon challenges the lord of the deep to let in light. We need to know.
This Moon trines Mars in Pisces, the ancient ruler of Scorpio. What we feel, what we sense, is strong. Scorpio is a ninja, powerful and stealthy, never giving up.
Clear discernment is built on solid information, carefully collected and vetted.
Jupiter exalted in Cancer, the Moon’s home, remains a force for peace, community, and justice. He separates from trines to the Sun and Mercury. Did he serve as wise counsellor during Mercury’s cazimi? Let’s hope so.
At this Disseminating phase, we are not ready to share yet. We know how much we don’t know. We’re working on it.
Where action is clear and needed, we act. Of course. Scorpio action is decisive and has consequences.
Where clarity hasn’t emerged yet, we wait. Scorpio is excellent at waiting for the right moment.
