Crescent Moon in Taurus: Abundant

Sunday morning, we enter the Crescent Moon. The Moon has light in the sky again. We can reach toward goals. We can chart a path.

There’s still plenty of crazy. The Sun, new in Aries, is conjunct Neptune and applying to conjunct Saturn, all three lit up at once. If it feels like the world’s on fire and we don’t even know why, these three got that covered.

There’s more worth looking at, though.

Venus at 19º Aries moves to conjunct Eris and Chiron at 25º Aries. This is healing energy, even if we have to walk through fire to get there. Chiron is the wounded healer who shows us where our personal healing work is. Eris is the chaos goddess who points to the needs of the world. Venus is the burning rose.

Austin Coppock named their third decan of Aries, the burning rose. It brings, in his words, the power of art to overcome hostility. Venus, not generally strong in Aries, is strong here; she rules this face. She brings creative fire to shine light on what needs to be healed.

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, a place she is strong, grounded, compassionate, and capable. Think ‘everyone eats here,’ coats for freezing winter nights, strong arms and warm hugs.

This Moon sextiles Jupiter, exalted in Cancer. Jupiter brings benevolence, the keys to the warehouse, the money to pay the bills, and more strong arms and warm hugs.

On the other side, the Moon sextiles Mars in Pisces. This is not a lost Mars, but a crafty one. He knows how to get in the back door when the front door’s locked. Where to find the secret code to get everyone out of the building. Who to call.

So, sure, everything’s on fire. We’re still here. We have art, resources, bread, roses, community, and healing. Let’s go.
