Gibbous Moon in Cancer: Almost There

Tomorrow, about 6 am EST, we reach the Gibbous Moon, the sesquiquadrate between Moon and Sun. We feel close to achieving something, or at least realizing something, but we’re not there yet. This Gibbous Moon is in Cancer, the Sun in Aquarius.

There are a lot of “almosts” in the sky right now. Most pressing is Uranus, intense in the final degree of Aries, almost in Taurus. Chiron in the last degree of Pisces is almost in Aries.

Venus has almost reached Saturn, both in Capricorn. Mercury has almost reached Neptune in Pisces. The Moon connects to both pairs, opposing Venus–Saturn and trining Mercury–Neptune.

We feel something close, just over the horizon, but we’re not there yet.

We might be tired, stressed, irritated, bored, or simply determined to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Whatever our situation, we know we need to press on.

There is solace here. The Cancerian Moon connects to Mercury–Neptune for reassurance that dreams are worth pursuing, for intuitive guidance, for creative flow.

This Moon reminds us to stop and eat, make sure we get some rest, maybe even a massage. Our bodies need care. These are not easy times to be alive, yet we’re surrounded by beauty, support, and caring. We can take care of each other along the way.
